01. Order processing time
All orders placed on Your Derm Chronicles are processed within 1–2 business days (Monday to Friday, excluding public holidays) after receiving your order confirmation email.
Orders placed on weekends or public holidays will begin processing on the next available business day. You will receive a shipment confirmation email with your tracking number once your order has been dispatched.
During peak periods (sale events, festive seasons), processing times may be extended by 1–2 additional business days. We appreciate your patience during these periods.
02. Estimated delivery timeframes
Delivery times vary depending on your location and chosen shipping method:
- Metro cities (Mumbai, Delhi, Bangalore, Chennai, Hyderabad, Kolkata): 2–4 business days
- Tier 2 & Tier 3 cities: 4–6 business days
- Remote & rural areas: 6–10 business days
- Express shipping (where available): 1–2 business days
Please note that these are estimated timeframes and not guaranteed. Actual delivery times may vary due to factors outside our control such as courier delays, weather conditions, or customs processing for international orders.
03. Shipping charges
Shipping charges are calculated at checkout based on your delivery location and the total order value. The current standard shipping rates are:
- Standard shipping: ₹49 for orders below ₹999
- Free shipping: On all orders of ₹999 and above
- Express shipping: ₹149 (available for select pin codes)
- Cash on Delivery (COD): Additional ₹39 handling fee applies
Shipping charges are non-refundable once an order has been dispatched, unless the return is due to our error or a defective product.
04. Free shipping threshold
We offer free standard shipping on all orders of ₹999 or more within India. The order value is calculated after any applicable discounts or coupon codes have been applied.
Free shipping applies to standard delivery only. Express shipping charges apply regardless of order value. Free shipping is applicable for domestic orders only — international orders are subject to separate shipping rates.
05. Order tracking
Once your order has been dispatched, you will receive a shipment confirmation email containing your tracking number and a link to track your package. You can also track your order by:
- Logging into your account on our website and visiting "My Orders"
- Clicking the tracking link in your shipment confirmation email
- Visiting the courier's website and entering your tracking number directly
Please allow up to 24 hours after receiving your shipment confirmation email for tracking information to be updated in the courier's system.
06. Failed & returned deliveries
If a delivery attempt is unsuccessful (e.g., no one available to receive the package, incorrect address provided), the courier will typically make up to two additional delivery attempts before returning the package to us.
If your order is returned to us due to a failed delivery, we will contact you to arrange re-delivery. Please note that a re-delivery charge may apply. If you choose not to have the order re-delivered, a refund will be issued minus the original and return shipping costs.
To avoid failed deliveries, please ensure your delivery address and contact number are accurate at the time of placing your order.
07. International shipping
At this time, we primarily ship within India. For international shipping enquiries, please contact us at yourdermchronicles@gmail.com and we will advise on availability and rates for your specific location.
For international orders (where available), the customer is responsible for all customs duties, import taxes, and fees levied by the destination country. Your Derm Chronicles is not responsible for customs delays or any additional charges imposed by your country's customs authority.
08. Shipping delays
While we strive to ensure timely delivery, there may be occasions where unforeseen circumstances lead to shipping delays. These may include:
- National or regional public holidays
- Extreme weather conditions or natural disasters
- High-volume periods such as festive seasons and sale events
- Courier operational disruptions or strikes
- Incorrect or incomplete delivery address provided by the customer
