01. Return eligibility
We want you to love every product you purchase from Your Derm Chronicles. If you are not completely satisfied, we are here to help. To be eligible for a return, the following conditions must be met:
- The item must be unused, unopened, and in the same condition that you received it.
- The item must be in its original packaging with all seals intact.
- The return must be initiated within 30 days of the delivery date.
- Proof of purchase (order confirmation or receipt) must be provided.
For hygiene and safety reasons, we are unable to accept returns on products that have been opened, used, or tampered with, unless the item is faulty or damaged upon receipt.
02. Return timeframe
You have 30 calendar days from the date of delivery to initiate a return request. We strongly recommend inspecting your order upon receipt and contacting us promptly if there is an issue.
Return requests submitted after 30 days from the delivery date will not be accepted unless the product is found to be defective due to a manufacturing fault, in which case different warranty terms may apply.
03. Non-returnable items
The following items cannot be returned or refunded under any circumstances:
- Opened or used skincare products (for hygiene and safety reasons)
- Products purchased during final sale or clearance promotions
- Gift cards and e-vouchers
- Bundled products where any item in the bundle has been opened
- Items marked as "non-returnable" on the product page
- Free gifts or promotional items received with a purchase
04. How to initiate a return
To start a return, please follow these steps:
- Step 1: Email us at yourdermchronicles@gmail.com with your order number and reason for return.
- Step 2: Our team will review your request and respond within 2–3 business days with return instructions and a Return Merchandise Authorisation (RMA) number.
- Step 3: Pack the item securely in its original packaging and include your RMA number on the outside of the package.
- Step 4: Ship the item to the address provided in our return instructions.
Please do not send items back without first receiving an RMA number — unrequested returns may not be processed.
05. Refund method & timeline
Once we receive and inspect your returned item, we will notify you via email of the approval or rejection of your refund.
If approved, your refund will be processed as follows:
- Original payment method: Refunds are issued to the original payment method used at checkout (credit/debit card, UPI, net banking, etc.).
- Processing time: Please allow 5–7 business days for the refund to appear in your account after approval. Bank processing times may vary.
- Store credit: If you prefer, we can issue store credit instead of a monetary refund, which will be applied to your account immediately upon approval.
Original shipping charges are non-refundable unless the return is due to our error or a defective product.
06. Exchanges
We only replace items if they are defective, damaged, or if you received the wrong product. If you need to exchange an item for the same product, please contact us at yourdermchronicles@gmail.com.
If you would like a different product, we recommend returning the original item (if eligible) and placing a new order for the desired product.
07. Damaged or defective items
If you receive a damaged, defective, or incorrect item, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery at yourdermchronicles@gmail.com. Please include:
- Your order number
- A clear photograph of the damaged or defective item
- A photograph of the outer packaging (especially if damaged in transit)
- A brief description of the issue
We will arrange a replacement or full refund at no additional cost to you.
08. Return shipping costs
Unless the return is due to our error (wrong item sent, defective product), return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer. We recommend using a trackable shipping service, as we cannot guarantee receipt of your returned item.
If we have made an error with your order, we will provide a prepaid return shipping label at no cost to you.
